SIXTH WEEK OF PRACTICUM AT TASKA SYAZ GONG BADAK

This time I would like to tell you about the sixth week of industrial training as a practical teacher at Taska Syaz Gong Badak.

31 October 2021 (Sunday)

Today is the turn of another practical teacher who makes activities with children. The teacher chose to do the activity before lunchtime because the teacher will be observed by the practicum supervisor. From my observation, an educator who wants to produce a generation that develops holistically should make a daily plan of activities before doing an activity. This is because it can make the journey of the activity smoothly by following the steps that had been planned. I also agree if every activity did should be better explained so that children can understand it well. Therefore, in describing something, I had to choose words and sentences that are appropriate to the developmental level of the child involved.

Starting 1 November 2021 until this weekend, I did not go to Taska to work because I was required to isolate myself from the crowd. I was in close contact with a COVID-19 positive patient. I also did a swab test using the COVID-19 Antigen Detection Kit and got a negative result. Despite the negatives, I have to take precautionary measures, which is quarantined at home because I am worried if something undesirable happens. Therefore, the Taska supervisor also permitted self-quarantine for a week and did not need to be replaced.
